Let's look into some of the firstever footage taken in Texas and Galveston. This is some of the earliest film to ever be recorded. We can thank Thomas Edison and his company for sending his assistants to Galveston just days after the devastating 1900 Storm. They captured historic footage of the island in 1900 after the nation's deadliest natural disaster.
