Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Higurashi: When They Cry) has found us discussing the origin of Hanyuu Furude through Kotohogushihen, and how Rika Furude began to predict the future in Himatsubushihen. Today, we finally begin to talk about the first arc of the series: Onikakushihen. Keiichi Maebara finds himself caught in an unexpected mess following the disappearances of Tomitake Jirou and Miyo Takano, and he begins to doubt his friends Rena Ryuugu and Sonozaki Mion. Join me as we find out what horrors await us in this chapter of our timelooping story!

Welcome to a brand new series called the "Ultimate Higurashi Timeline," where once a month I will be going through every arc in the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni catalogue. Whether the arc belongs to a console, or manga, or visual novel, or its anime only; I will be going through ALL of them, and deciding if they are either canon or noncanon by putting them into one, coherent timeline. The purpose of this series is to finally end any and all misinformation for the series by making it all readily available.
