Star Wars game releases seem to drop out of hyperspace as the tripleA development industry moved away from singleplayer narrative titles to live service and mobile games. Multiple uninspiring Star Wars games were panned by fans, and as the years went on, a number of indevelopment projects were thrown in the garbage compactor. As the decade came to a close, it was on Respawn Entertainment’s Jedi: Fallen Order to save this underwhelming stretch of time and revitalize a drowning property.
