Every day from October 7 to October 11, and the remaining day on Monday, October 14, the winners of the 2024 Nobel Prize are announced in their different categories from Oslo and Stockholm.
On Thursday 10th, in the morning, it will be the turn of the Nobel Prize for Literature, the name chosen by the Swedish Academy of Letters. The winner will receive a diploma, a medal and a check for one million dollars, provided by the Nobel Foundation.
Shortly after the announcement, critics and experts in literature —and not so much— consider the names of the supposed favorites, although Swedish academics always reserve lastminute surprises. If we had to make a first “consensus list” among those who risk the names of authors who are the most mentioned this year, in this report we present it to you.
