Proof of concept of sailing The First Kyosho SEAWIND with a Genoa Sail COMPLETED.

First sail of the SEAWIND after switching the jib sail to genoa sail involved removing the 1/4 Scale servo that drove both the main and jib sail as well as patch up the electronics tray where it use to sit in.

For the sail material I used a rip stop nylon fabric which performed well until the rain and the lake water got it wet where it sagged on some areas as you will see on the video. I have to find someone with talent in sail making or at the least better material.

The 2 Kingmax SW22HV 7 Turn servos did just fine as well as the sheet line guide tube keeping the lines taught and tangle free.

Next on test is to remove the jib boom the current jib sail configuration and see if it could be used a high wind genoa sail. 20221014
