Today, we look back at the history of and legacy of even more of the the oldest Counter Strike beta maps, and why they never transferred over to Counter Strike Source, Global Offensive or CS2. These were maps made for Counter Strike's Beta versions, but never got full officially remade for any of the later CS titles. Where maps like Dust2, Inferno, Nuke and Mirage lived on, these maps were sadly forgotten for in development of the later games, but certainly not forgotten by the community that spent hundreds of hours playing them since CS 1.6.
