As Henry Ford Health, we proudly announced a transformative vision for the neighborhood where our organization began over a hundred years ago. We have committed to making a collective investment of $2.5 billion in the city of Detroit, together with Michigan State University and Tom Gore's and the Detroit Pistons.

At Henry Ford Health, we are dedicated to serving the people we have committed to, and our plan is to continue doing so by building a revitalized Henry Ford Hospital and campus. Our vision for the new facilities includes a new and expanded emergency department with specialized space for trauma and behavioral health care, stateoftheart acute intensive care units, and technologically advanced operating suites with Space Age navigation equipment to ensure the safety of our patients. We aim to positively impact the community by creating more opportunities for everyone to benefit from this investment in healthcare.

Another highlight of the plan is the development of a new research building in Detroit. This building will be the cornerstone of the academic campus, placing MSU and Henry Ford Health scientists adjacent to educators and clinicians to better develop a new standard of health for all. The goal is to create a worldclass medical institution in an academic setting tied into the community.
