Lars Muhl visits "the holiest place on Earth" Cave 4 at Qumran, in the Judaean Desert of the West Bank, where most of the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. But it was also the place where Yeshua (Jesus) and Yohannan (John) the Baptist and the Essenes put themselves in the socalled unprotected state, 40 days in the desert, to reach higher levels of consciousness.
