DEI Divide et Impera is one of the best Total War mods I've ever played, and perhaps the most essential. It essentially makes Rome 2 into what it could've been if we assume that the core remains, but if we had so much more complexity, depth and choice included. I've covered DEI before, but since it's been so long, I thought it was time to jump back in, and give a new and improved overview over the entirety of this amazing Rome 2 mod.

The incredible thing is that DEI has essentially been in development since Rome 2 released almost 10 years ago, and it really shows. With a population system, wonders, and even entirely new campaigns, it's one of the most comprehensive mods ever made. And so, is DEI worth playing in 2023?
