I rebuilt a James Wharram designed Pahi 42 at Dutchmans’ Cove Marina with the help of good friend John Bentley. It took much longer than expected, mainly because ageing parents needed care. In the years she was on the hard the marina changed and she could no longer be craned into the water and was, of course, still too wide for the travel lift. We had it all planned for an early morning escorted run but as often happens, plans had to be slightly modified. What was to be a test lift with the trailer became the beginning of Ripple's great escape down to warmer waters in the Bahamas. Unfortunately I had to remove some of the music from the video. I might be able to change this when I have more time and more knowledge about uploading to Youtube.
