Welcome to a special video that I have been waiting for since 2017!

The April 8, 2024, Solar Eclipse brought us an amazing sight that I will never forget. I prepared two months in advance as well as picked a spot by the Connecticut Lakes State Forest in Pittsburg, New Hampshire as it would be the closest to the center of the path of Totality.

This was the first Total Solar Eclipse to pass New Hampshire since 1959, 65 years. Coos County, the Northern portion of New Hampshire fell into the path of Totality. Pittsburg, New Hampshire was the prime spot as it had the most time, being more than 3 minutes in Totality.

Thankfully, the weather was clear and perfect, which is super rare considering that early April is usually cloudy and rainy.

The Next Total Solar Eclipse to pass in New Hampshire will occur on May 1, 2079, in 55 years.
The Next Total Solar Eclipse to pass in the United States will occur on August 23, 2044, with another one just under a year later on August 12, 2045.
