Did you know 2 billion years of time are missing from the geology outside of Cody, Wyoming? Known as the Great Unconformity, this geological phenomenon brings students from all over the world to Wyoming. In this "Layers with Larry" we learn about these missing rocks, take in some gneiss views, and travel further back in time than ever before on this series!

In the Cody area? Write a letter to Larry with your favorite thing about this episode, any questions, and what you'd like to see in a future video to receive a fossil field guide. Include an email address or phone number so that we can arrange a time for you to pick it up from the Buffalo Bill Center of the West.
