It is the story of king and commander Amarendra Baahubali who must face his brother, mother, and uncle in the face of betrayal, jealousy, and misunderstandings, and must continually protect his kingdom even with his own life. 

The twist? A man so great does not only get one life to get this world set straight. When he is gone, his son who will take his place in this game of morality and mortality.
