During the recovery from the 2020 COVID pandemic, we've seen more A380s returning to service beginning first with Emirates who restarted operations into LHR using the A380 in July 2020; followed by BA in November 2021; then Singapore Airlines, Qatar, Qantas and last month Etihad.
So we have many of the pre covid A380s back with us again at Heathrow although it's a shame that Thai haven't returned theirs into service maybe that will be for the future?
Here is a "snapshot" of all the current A380 operators at Heathrow as at Wednesday 9th August 2023 which means we have:
Qatar
Emirates
Etihad
British Airways
Singapore Airlines
all operating daily services.
(And with thanks to ‪@IanGould‬ for reminding me; Qantas; with their QF1/2 A380 SYDSINLHRSINSYD Service, which I wasn’t able to get but have used footage of VHOQA from precovid days.)
