On the 15th April 1989, the worst sporting disaster in the history of the United Kingdom took place at the Hillsborough Football Stadium. 97 people died as a result and a further 730 were badly injured due to a crush in overcrowded stands. Many more were left with PTSD. The cause of the crush was quickly pinned on the fans and the victims. It took over 2 decades for the truth to come out. It is a tale of police coverups, of media lies and government indifference to the suffering of those involved.
