In the past, I’ve covered several types of collectibles. Figures, plushes, pretty general stuff. But there’s a lot more to collecting than just toys, and today I’ll be taking a look at one of the most niche but important collecting hobbies, animation cels!

In today's heartpounding video, I go over everything you need to know about collecting animation cels, and cel animation in general. We're talking SpongeBob, Sonic The Hedgehog, Mario, Family Guy, Sailor Moon, and more. There's clearly a lot to animation cels, and I go over all of it in this video. Basically, animation cels are the drawings of each frame of animation from handanimated productions. Once computer animation became the norm, this method was phased out, but the cels and sketches from this era have become a huge collecting scene.
