Join us on a day out from Kirkwall across the Churchill Barriers from mainland Orkney to the island of Lamb Holm to see the amazing Italian Chapel.

Both structure built by Italian POW soldiers in the 1940s following the sinking of HMS Royal Oak in Scapa Flow by a German U boat.

One of the prisoners was a man called Chiocchetti who proved to be a talented artist. His family from Ital still have strong links with Orkney Islands.
