This took so many attempts, not really because of the jump, but because its exceedingly difficult to get the Gems to autocollect. I don't know if there's an RNG element to it, but I do believe you have to do the Early Kill with Jacques as far ahead as possible to get them to spawn in a spot where they can reach the lava (Which is what's happening to cause them to autocollect).

Jump's hard too, of course. Its just not the bottleneck.
