On this crazy day, we were stopped by the KGB (or the FSB as they are now known) as well as the Russian coastguard, as we tried to explore an abandoned Soviet weapons factory off the coast of the Caspian Sea, (near Kaspiysk, Dagestan, Russia).

On the journey out by speedboat from Kaspiysk, to the abandoned missile factory (Tsekh 8) we were surrounded by 3 boats of gunflashing officers ordering us back to shore. But later on, with their backs turned, we made it on to the Soviet weapons factory to explore this unique piece of 20th century history crumbling into the water.
