Farside Bike Park is a brand new lift access MTB park at Chestnut Mountain Resort near Galena, IL. It was built exclusively by Pathfinder Trail Building. The plan for this place is to build it out in phases which would have it totally complete in the next year or two. Phase one is now complete which includes the blue jumpline that I was working on and is what I'm stoked to show you in this video!
There is also a green flow trail and a built out skills zone with wood skinnies, flow trail sections and a wood drop zone. There is green and blue lines for all of the skills zone.
They're trying to open it sometime in mid July. Stoked for ya'll to go enjoy our hard work once it's open. And even more stoked to get back down there finish the park, it has so much awesome terrain for tech. Gonna be sick!
Also stick around till the end for a pretty big gap to wallride which is the last feature on the trail.
