Stephen Chong M.Ed. is a Far North Queensland,
Australianbased author who draws his inspirations from
life’s themes that relate to us all – love, grief, struggle,
overcoming obstacles. Culminating in his six inspirational
novels, featurefilm screenplays and multiple shortstories,
he has converted these ‘life themes’ into stories that we
can all relate to. Stephen’s expertise of balancing modern
work practices with personal life provides unique insights
that make life, and life in the hereafter, a much better
place.

Stephen has also written five featurefilm screenplays, based on the inspiration from his novels:
A Meaningful Life: The theft of a sacred book leads a determined, yet insecure young woman to
overcome her grief, face her fears of death, and to discover the depths of eternal love.
Mean Paradise: After the murder of his fostermother, an aimless young man inherits her criminal
and must choose between the love of family and the lust for money and power.
The Pivot Point: After his wife and child are kidnapped, a devoted young family man must descend
into the depths of a decedent society to save them from a corrupt, powerhungry politician.
Bodies of Consequence: After his death, a venerated, exWWII veteran in heaven confronts the
consequences of his life’s actions and must guide his beloved grandson who follows in his military
footsteps.
The Afterlife: After his death and passage to heaven, a clergyman confronts a victim of clerical
abuse, and together they journey through heaven’s many levels in search of forgiveness, truth, and
enlightenment.
