Kang Seungyoon won The King of Mask Singer for six times, from March 1, 2020, to May 10, 2020. He is the first YG artist to win the prestigious longrunning competition, and only the second male idol to win the crown.

Seungyoon is now the first KPOP idol to achieve six crowns in KOMS' 5year history. He first appeared in KOMS last 2017.

Kang Seungyoon defeated noted veterans such as celebrated noraebang singer So Chan Hwee and acclaimed Broadway star Michael Lee.

During Kang Seungyoon's first win as King of Masked Singers, the show recorded a doubledigit percentage of viewership ratings for the first time in 20 months.

Kang Seungyoon is slated to release his first solo album this 2020.
