Can you help me solve this Kirby glitch?

So I'm pretty excited for Kirby and the Forgotten Land on Nintendo Switch, but years ago in Kirby Super Star I encountered some sort of weird glitch that I haven't been able to reproduce since, nor have I seen it documented anywhere online. So I'm calling out to the internet: Do you know about this glitch? Has it actually been documented? I'm hoping some of you Kirby Super Star masters out there can lend me a hand!
