Forget small RVs; these luxurious motorhomes are palaces on wheels. Terri and Richard's is a bus, with custommade kitchen and bathroom, extensible surfaces for extra space, and even a heated toilet seat. It cost them over $2 million but allows them to escape the Florida heat every summer and head to Michigan. They migrate from state to state like birds, always in search of pleasant weather.

On average, luxury coach owners sell their RVs and buy newer ones every two years, boosting the sales of luxury motorhomes. Hollywood stars are also frequent buyers of these vehicles. Mariah Carey's RV features side extensions and a deployable second floor that can transform into a dance floor! Other RVs have a helipad on the roof.

More than a million Americans have adopted this 'nomadic' lifestyle. Some, like Richard, do it parttime, traveling for a few weeks and then staying home for another three weeks. Others, like Jennifer and JR, who live aboard their bus with their two children, have left their old lives behind and embraced the nomadic lifestyle permanently.
