March 12, 2023, a historic day in the history of transport, Nancy's Transport sur Voie Réservée (TVR) had its last day of operation, after 22 years of service.

Inaugurated on 8 December 2000, on the eve of the 21st century, the TVR was supposed to represent an attractive and less expensive mode of transport than a heavy mode, for mediumsized towns wishing to have a TCSP, but alas, it will be otherwise... From the very first tests, the system proved to be unreliable and unreliable, and the combination of the Trolleybus and Tramway system proved to be more difficult than expected to operate. After Nancy, Caen tried the experiment in 2002 before withdrawing their TVR from circulation at the end of 2017.

Nancy will have lasted until 2023, with this unique mode of transport, but unfortunately not yet perfected. The STAN teams will have managed to keep it in passenger service for 22 years, and over 800,000 km for some of the 25 TVR trains.

See you in September 2024, when the new Trolleybus line will replace the T1 line. Many thanks for the driver's welcome during these now historic sequences!

Have a good viewing !
