YS11 is a turbo prop aircraft designed and manufactured by NAMC(Nihon Aircraft Manufacturing Company), which was the first commercial passenger aircraft developed in Japan after WW2. The YS11 were built on 1962 1973, and some of them had been used for 30 or 40 years until around 2000s, because of their robustness and reliability. The last (commercial) operator of YS11 in Japan was JAC(Japan Air Commuter), they were used until 2006. A few of them are still used in JASDF(Japan Air SelfDefense Force) for the special purpose.
