The 1960s Honda 250 & 305 Scramblers were what many considered to be the first bike from Japan that looked and sounded like a real motorcycle. Between its style, sound, dependability and affordability it was a big hit in the US market. Designed as an on/off road bike it was not long before they were also being raced.
