Today, Disney's Hollywood Studios is used as a dumping ground for Disney IP. Should it be? Well, no as the old studio theming worked as glue to tie all the attractions together thematically. Here, I'm interested in exploring the old studio and Golden Age of Hollywood theming that once defined Disney MGM Studios. I'm also inclined to think that the new "immersing you into the movies" aspect of the current Hollywood Studios is a thinly veiled excuse to not bother with thematic cohesion. Today, I want to break down the many issues of abandoning the theming of the initial park.
