In 2019, Friends of Pando set out to create the first landscale 360degree photographic survey of the Pando Tree; the world's largest aspen clone, the largest tree by weight, and the largest tree by land mass. This documentary tells the story of Pando and those who worked to create this firstofitskind scientific record of the tree's staggering 106acre land mass. Part science and part art, this effort provides a document that can be used to study this botanical wonder yearround from anywhere in the world and, can be replicated on any scale to see how the tree changes over time. For those who helped create the record, the project represents a labor of love and, an invitation for all who seek to enjoy and explore wonderous Pando's expanse.
