THE MAN CARD DRILL EXPLAINED.

In the last 3 going on 4 years only 65 MAN CARDS (short cards)have been earned in the wild. The Short Card is your admission to attempt the Long Card.

The “Man Card” Drill is a series of performance on demand standards based on first round accountability to be done cold both rifle & pistol. These standards are demanding and require a proficient shooter to execute each iteration with sound fundamentals! Anyone can come to achieve this standard without the pressure that exists when doing it at one of my courses.
The stress and pressure is another added variable to show shooters where they may be falling short in their training so that they can exploit their own weakness. The stress experienced doesn’t even compare to the stress experienced in a shooting or a gunfight but it definitely opens some eyes.

Come take a course and see if you can keep your “Man Card”

"MAN CARD" Drill starts off with Czone size steel or you can use a clean IPSC target and only count the Czone hits.

Distance: 25yrds

Target: Czone steel or IPSC Czone.

Ammo/Equipment: Partimer, 1 Full pistol Mag, 1 Full Rifle Mag & 1 Empty Rifle Mag to set up the Transition from Rifle to Pistol.

Course of fire: (short card)
1 round Pistol from compressed ready. Par time 1 sec.

1 round Pistol from holster. Par time 1.5 sec.

1 round Rifle from low ready. Par time 1 sec. (45* downward cover)

1 round Rifle from high ready. Par time 1 sec. (out of shoulder)

1 round Rifle from either ready position, transition to pistol, 1 round Pistol. Par time 2.5 sec.

All hits must be recorded. You can limit attempts to 2 or for standard only give each shooter 1 chance. Again this is normally shot from a cold shooter status.

Any shots out of the Czone = failure
Any shots over time = failure.
