Rev. Uncle Dyke Garrets preaching career spanned 55 years. He served in the confederate army and famous Logan wild cats, and was friends with Devil Anse Hatfield. He is best known for baptizing Devil Anse and stating, Today I baptized the devil. He also officiated his funeral.
