Thor Gotaas is a Norwegian writer, folklorist, lecturer, crosscountry, skier, my step dad, and has written 38 books. But more importantly, he plants trees.

For 25 years, Thor has planted trees for Phil ltd. It's a job that demands patience. The forest is a quiet place. When 30 000 trees are to be plantet, one have to concentrate on one at the time. And wish every tree good luck. In many ways it's a bit like crosscountry skiing.
