The Math of H. P. Lovecraft: Understanding Non-Euclidean Geometry

Follow
Phobophile

H. P. Lovecraft's stories contain some surprisingly deep mathematics. Lovecraftian horror is particularly associated with nonEuclidean geometry, but a lot of people don't necessarily understand the math he was writing about. In this video, we take a deep dive into Lovecraftian mathematics and learn about these weird geometries in a way nonmathematicians can understand.
