In this video, we go over the devastating Maui wildfires of 2023, including the causes, failure by Maui officials, and the damage it's left behind. On the night of August 8, a wildfire was believed to have been started in West Maui, and over the course of the next 48 hours it would quickly become Americas deadliest wildfire ever. It completely destroyed the town of Lahaina, which is one of the most historically significant in the island chain.

People reported have little to no warnings at all about the fire, and when you combine that with the shocking fact about how this fire started, you can clearly see a collapse from the Maui government and officials. Hawaii has the world's most advanced natural disaster alarm system in the world, whether for fires, tsunamis, or anything else, so how could this fire go without any warning?
