The Mesh Screens on Gutterglove Gutter Guards Do Not Clog Themselves!

In this video I discuss the biggest issue that almost all micro mesh gutter guards face. It seems with the exception of Gutterglove all other micro mesh guards on the market clog themselves over a few short years with algae and mold. This is caused by the mesh screen itself on these guards being woven too tight. In most cases the screens used on these guards are similar to a silk screen. Very fine filter, and very flimsy in structure. What happens is overtime as water clings to these guards they begin to become a perfect nesting ground for algae and mold to grow. Often times this mold and algae grows not only on the top of the screen but underneath it as well. Once this happens the guards themselves become useless. As rainwater is no longer able to filter through the clogged screen mesh, rain simply runs right over the guard. Making it as if you don't even have gutters at all. Companies say you can power wash their guards once this begins to happen, sure they left that part out of the sales pitch. But even if you can pay a company to come out and power wash your gutter guards, which would be very expensive, you generally can only get the guard back to 50% of its original designed water filtration rate. As you can see in this video 2 years later the mesh on the Gutterglove product is still the same as the day it was installed! Hats off to Gutterglove for being the only company in the industry which realized an issue and resolved it!
