In a highstakes world of journalism, rival newspapermen Kruger and McDonald find their intense feud spiraling into chaos when McDonald is murdered, and his body is hidden in the trunk of Kruger's car. Determined to clear his name, the wellmeaning Kruger, with the help of his hapless chauffeur Hogan, desperately tries to conceal the corpse from the authorities. However, as the body keeps resurfacing in the most unexpected places, Kruger is thrust into a whirlwind of zany scenarios, forcing him to juggle the corpse while racing against time to uncover the true killer and prove his innocence.
