So, this is the time of year I look forward to most, the Monticello Horn Honk. The day started off very nice, but unfortunately, the compressor the museum supplied us with died and the supplier they got the compressor from refused to take any responsibility for the poor maintenance on the compressor that we would discover later on. Needless to say, I was pretty pissed that my Disney trip basically got cancelled due to neglect on the part of the compressor supplier.
This is also a bittersweet Monticello, as shortly after this weekend, fellow collector Jim Lang passed away. He was at the event, and I marked his horns that were blown down below.
Anyways, this is what I was able to capture before the compressor went out. Unfortunately, I never got to honk any of my stuff.
