We have a super complicated hobby. For those truly serious about getting better footage….they can slowly, unknowingly drift to a mind space where the “childlike play” is gone from the creation process. Even Albert Einstein and Richard Feynman…the most accomplished quantum physicists in history….say how important “a childlike play” was to their process of discovery in science. All the ancient wisdoms for thousands of years, all talk about the importance of play in work & life.

Long Exposure Drone Photography:
1). Set your camera (or smartphone) to a 3 shutter speed (good starting point)
2). Make sure your scene is super dark: no street lights or bright signs etc
3). Set your camera on a tripod and set the composition you like
4). Think about getting a headlamp so you can see in the dark. Works great.
5). I found its very helpful to set a 5 second timer on my camera….meaning I press the shutter button then 5 seconds later the camera takes the picture. During these 5 seconds I get in position and move the drone across the scene.
6). Drone in sport mode works best.
