It's been a while since I've come across a plugin that oozes with such creative potential as Opal. The interface of this device is so minimal yet each sound engine is so powerful. And the sequencer for each engine is packed with about as many features as you'd want in an inthebox sequencer. This truly is one of the top drum synthesizer and sequencer VSTs (or Max For Live device, at least) you can get for Ableton Live. I've been looking for a long time for an inthebox alternative to a Moog DFAM or Elektron Digitakt and I think Opal might be just the thing I needed!
