In this video, we're going to show you some of the most stunning lakes in Canada! From Moraine Lake to Lake Louise in Banff National Park, these lakes are a mustsee for any traveler! We'll also highlight some of the hikes you should not miss if you're visiting these beautiful lakes. From the easy rock pile hike at Moraine Lake to the moderate Lake Agnes Tea House hike, you'll have plenty of options to choose from!

We begun our day at Moraine Lake. As of 2022, this lake is no longer accessible by private vehicle so we purchased tickets for the Parks Canada, Moraine Lake Shuttle. To access the shuttle we parked at Lake Louise Ski resort, checked in at the ticket booth to collect a physical copy of the tickets then boarded the 10am bus. Included in our ticket was the connector shuttle to Lake Louise and the return shuttle to the park and ride. The whole process was seamless and only cost $8 each. With growing congestion in the area this shuttle is the best way to guarantee you will see these incredible sights! There is also no time limits so you still have complete flexibility over your day once you have boarded the first bus.

Our first stop at Moraine Lake was the Rock Pile. This is the most iconic spot to see the lake and where most of the famous Moraine Lake images have been taken from. It is a very short walk up, however it does included some stairs and incline. We then walked along the lakeshore for a different view and saw many people out canoeing! My favourite hikes at Moraine Lake are the rock pile (easy), Tower of Babel (hard) and Larch Valley (moderate/hard).

We caught the connector shuttle to Lake Louise and spent the rest of the afternoon here. Parking is available at Lake Louise although it costs $21 and can become full quickly. Once at the lake, we begin our main hike of the day, the Lake Agnes Tea House hike. This is a lovely, moderate hike up to a remote tea house on Lake Agnes. We stopped at the top for a cup of tea and some tea biscuits. If you have additional time I would highly recommend continuing this hike to Big Beehive or Devils Thumb. It was a rainy day for us so we didn't continue on.
