Superheroes. Whether you love them or hate them, they’ve been a staple of American culture since the late 1930s. Love them or hate them, superheroes stand for, at their bare minimum, fighting for justice in times of peril. We all have our favorite heroes, be it the classics or more recently introduced heroes, but at the end of the day, it’s all just for fun and the love of the genre, right? Well. That’s how it is for a majority of casual viewers, fans who are more invested may stand to disagree. See, there’s a sect of fans that cannot stand to agree to disagree on the subject and it’s causing a lot of backlash towards the genre. Today, we’re looking at the fandom behind DC Comics, specifically surrounding the films of Zack Snyder.
