I was asked, over the weekend, to recommend a good razor for those wanting to begin their adventure with a double edged safety razor. Here is my recommendation:

the Mühle R89 safety razor is a fantastic razor and one you'll want to keep in your den forever. It gives a great shave, being efficient and easy to use. It might be the only one you'll ever need.

I shaved with a Personna MedPrep. Wow! What a great razor blade.
