Evelyn (Rachel Weisz) read from the Book of the Dead out loud and unintentionally awakens Imhotep, causing all hell to break loose and prompting the group to run inside for their lives. While inside, Rick (Brendan Fraser), Evelyn, and others come across Imhotep but are able to escape him.
