The wild winding Obabika River comes with a warning "extensive blowdowns possible"! As we would discover, they absolutely were "possible", and they were highly possible at every bend in the river! Join Ashley, myself (Keenan), and our two dogs Hugo and BettyLou on this multi day canoe trip through the Temagami wilderness, and down the Obabika River. This trip had a little bit of everything, from thousands of bugs, a sprained ankle, logjams and windy lakes! It is also a place of extreme beauty, peace and solitude. We found some great campsites, ancient pictographs and amazing scenery. Temagami gives you a little bit of everything, which is why it has quickly become one of our favourite canoe destinations anywhere.
