The Low Stump Challenge is a new optional minichallenge suggested by @elemental4rce for this year's Axe Cordwood Challenge. The objective is to use an axe to fell a tree with a trunk diameter of at least 8 inches (20.5 cm) by cutting low enough that the stump is less than 6 inches (15 cm) high. I made an attempt at a low stump while felling an Emerald Ash Borerkilled Green Ash ( Fraxinus pennsylvanica ).
