But this image of the rattlesnake is only part of its story. Few of us will ever see a rattlesnake in the wild, and they are not confined to the arid deserts of the Southwest. A whole range of rattlesnakes live across the Americas, some large, some small, but all having the unique warning rattle at the end of their tails. This film explores these extraordinary serpents, as well as following one female Western Diamondback through an eventful year.
