Saurer’s utility vehicles are legendary. Starting with the first prototypes from 1903, through the first dieselpowered trucks from the 1920s to the more modern tipper and utility vehicles of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Adolph Saurer AG combined the Saurer and Berna brand names and was based in Arbon, Switzerland. The firm manufactured utility vehicles until 1982. Their vehicles were widely used across mainland Europe, particularly in the interwar period.

The video also shows a FBW truck. FBW stands for "Franz Brozincevic & Cie" and was a Swiss maker of trucks, motorbuses and trolleybuses, founded by Croatianborn engineer and constructor Franjo (Franz) Brozinčević (18741933). The firm was active between 1922 and 1985 and was based in Wetzikon, Switzerland.
