KOSMOS is the fourth portable ultrasound I have ever tested, and it still amazes me every time. Using this feels like science fiction compared to the traditional cardbased systems. And as mentioned in the title, this is the only portable ultrasound benchmarked against cartbased machines.

Kosmos is changing the perception of pointofcare ultrasound (POCUS) – A.I.assisted full diagnostic imaging at the Point of Care. A POCUS exam was previously restricted by the limited capabilities of devices small enough to be convenient, hence was mostly a quick look or triage scan only. This often meant a followup scan was needed.

EchoNous has been developing intelligent medical tools for everyday problems in healthcare. Their A.I.assisted, portable ultrasound (linked with an electronic stethoscope and an ECG device) received the European CE mark of approval last March; and a year later the company launched its online platform to streamline ultrasound education.
