In this episode of our 'Ranking & Reviewing Every Superhero / Comicbook Movie', we tackle Superman (1978). This comic book movie was an absolute whirlwind, with many ups, and a few disheartening downs.

Christopher Reeve remains the definitive on screen Superman (for now), and we hope that James Gunn can borrow certain elements Reeve's nails for his upcoming DCEU.

Without question, this Superman movie is a must watch for any comic lover, and if you didn't know anything about the Superman character going into it, you are sure to leave with a solid foundation of this inspiring character that has been around for close to a century.
