On October 3rd, 2009 a handful of soldiers defended COP Keating against an organized and complex attack by hundreds of Taliban fighters. Eight Americans lost their lives, hundreds of enemy were killed. Two Medals of Honor were awarded and this battle goes down as the deadliest and one of the most infamous of all the War on Terror.
